Jam Island NL is a nonprofit community music initiative based in St. John’s focused on using music as a tool for positivity, wellness, cultural exchange, and community building. Through community jam sessions, workshops, outreach programs, and performances, Jam Island NL creates safe and welcoming spaces where people from different backgrounds can connect through music. A key part of the initiative is introducing participants to musical traditions and rhythms from across the globe, helping foster cultural appreciation and inclusion within Newfoundland and Labrador’s arts community.
