Over a series of dinners, they navigate loyalty, loss, and an uncertain future, with each gathering bringing a shifting mix of reconciliation, unexpected relationships, and betrayal. The city is crumbling, the climate is changing, and anxieties about the future make it increasingly difficult to get along. But in the end, they may discover that the only thing harder than staying together is facing the future apart.
