A Time in the Old Hall: Songs and Recitations of the Season

One of our finest songwriters once again teams up with the group that has brought new life to the Newfoundland and Labrador Recitation. Sherman Downey along with From Stage to Stage’s Dave Paddon, Harry Ingram, and Dave Penny are bringing a full repertoire of seasonal material to The Majestic Theatre.

The Christmas variety concert has long been a highly anticipated event on the social calendar of communities both large and small. For generations, Newfoundlanders and Labradorians of all ages have been gathering in community halls to take the stage to sing of the season or “say their piece”.
