Krysta has been working in T.V., film and theatre since she started hosting a daily talk show as a teenager. She went on to become a reporter and host for CBC NL and then switched careers to run the production company for m5 Marketing Communications. She produced many T.V., radio and digital videos for clients all over Canada. Eventually, she started her own marketing consulting company, working with small businesses, theatre companies and artists. She is passionate about local film, theatre and music and has held various roles in the arts. She is thrilled to work with the incredible Majestic team in this newly renovated, exquisite venue to bring arts and cultural events to our community!

Laura-Beth Power

General manager

Laura-Beth (often known as LB) has been engaged in the arts her whole life and as the General Manager at The Majestic Theatre, she takes joy in bringing the creative visions of both local and visiting artists to life. With her expertise, LB ensures that each performance journey unfolds seamlessly from start to finish. When not at work, she’s often found on her yoga mat, exploring the east coast trail or checking out St. John’s newest restaurant! Brendan Agnew

Brendan Agnew

Production Manager

Brendan is from Vancouver, BC and now calls St. John’s home. He has worked with companies across Canada including Pacific Opera Victoria, Repercussion Theatre, Carousel Theatre for Young People, the Belfry Theatre, Perchance Theatre, and PerSIStence Theatre Company. He is a graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada (Production Design and Technical Arts), and holds a BFA (Theatre) from the University of Victoria.

Nick Corcoran

House Technician

Nick Corcoran is a theatre technician, writer, and musician based in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. His writing has been seen on the stage of the LSPU Hall, as well as published in Horseshoe Literary Magazine and Paragon Press literary journal. His band, Gallery, is set to release their debut EP through Boston based label Candlepin Records in March 2025.
A graduate of Memorial University’s Diploma of Stage and Screen Technique, he has worked in multiple theatres across the province and is thrilled to find a home in The Majestic Theatre.

Selina is our Bar & Café Manager and one of the hardest working members of our team! Whether you’re planning a special event or your dream wedding, Selina is here to help make it all happen.

Sarah Murphy

Marketing Coordinator

Sarah is a CBS, NL-based marketing professional with a career path as varied as her interests. She began in healthcare, working in Nutrition and Dietetics, before following her creative instincts into marketing. Since then, she has built experience across tech, agriculture, and the arts. Her true focus lies in supporting artists: helping them realize the vision of their events and getting their work in front of the right audiences. When she steps away from the screen, you’ll likely find her in Worsley Park with her dog Kiwi or experimenting in the kitchen!

Bettina Yau

CFO

Bettina is a passionate supporter of the arts and a driving force behind Majestic Arts Centre Limited as its CFO. Inspired by Walter Schroeder and the foundation of Terra Bruce Productions, Bettina is continually impressed by the cultural heritage of Newfoundland and Labrador. She is committed to providing opportunities for artists and audiences and believes that art and culture can influence the world in incredibly positive ways. Based in Toronto, she and her family are enthusiastic musical theatre fans, and she is delighted to combine a love of the arts with community involvement at The Majestic Theatre and Theatre Hill Bar + Café.

Andrew Gosse

facilities manager

Andrew Gosse is a composer, sound designer, audio engineer, and visual artist from St. John’s, NL. He holds a master’s degree in music technology and digital media from the University of Toronto as well as a wide-ranging portfolio including work for many animated films, video games, as well as classical works for stage performance. Gosse is an associate composer of the Canadian Music Centre and winner of the 2025 MusicNL award for Electronic Artist of the Year. When not maintaining the Majestic Theatre, he can be found spending time with his partner, reading comics, and feeding his two cats.
