Inspired by the classic era of the 50s and 60s, bilingual singer-songwriter Adrian House's songs are funny, moving, and sincere. In 2020, the singer from St. John's did an 11 show tour of the Maritimes by bicycle. 2021 saw Adrian become the first Newfoundlander ever to reach the semi-finals of the renowned Festival international de la chanson de Granby (FICG), and his songs have become a staple on Radio Canada Acadie. In June, 2024 he released his fourth solo album, and first entirely in French, Pêcheur de rêves, and was named MusicNL Jazz Artist of the Year.
Pêcheur de rêves is a unique amalgam of styles ranging from folk, to jazz, to rock & roll. It tells stories of unique characters, and explores themes like the importance of following one's own path, of staying lighthearted, and of opening up to the connections that arise in life. Adrian's warm and playful voice unites the album and guides you on a wonderful journey.
