Darren Browne is a downtownie who plays in several folk/indie/global/country/trad outfits around the province and in other hemispheres. Occasionally he joins the band in a theatre production (Come From Away Gander, TaDa! Events, Terra Bruce, Spirit of Newfoundland, Artistic Fraud) and has just released an album of instrumental guitar music featuring bird sounds he recorded during a recent trip to Brazil.
