As a 2019 Juno Award winner for Comedy Album of the Year for “Good Friend Bad Grammar”, Dave has solidified his place as one of comedy’s brightest and most original voices. His specials “Beautifully Manic” (featured on Comedians of the World) and “I Love You Habibi” (streaming on Crave) showcases his powerhouse performance style. His latest special, “Dawud”, was recently nominated for a 2026 Juno Award and is now available on YouTube.
Dave is a regular at major comedy festivals including the Just for Laughs, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Halifax Comedy Festival, and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. On screen, he’s appeared on MTV Live, played Mr. Bechara on Mr. D, and co-starred in the acclaimed series Ramy. He also starred in the film "Sometimes I Think About Dying", which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
