Sundar Subramanian will play his compositions and improvisations on electric guitar with effects and new techniques, exploring the instrument's frontiers, maybe seasoned with a familiar tune or two as well. Composer-guitarist Steve Murphy will open the night with a mix of original compositions and arrangements for classical guitar, integrating folk and jazz influences into a contemporary musical language.
