Kilt of Many Colours” is a professionally curated showcase that seamlessly blends a variety of musical traditions. The performance features classic country duets performed by Gordon Cormier and Loretta (Cormier) Johnson, of the family group “The Cormiers” alongside enchanting Irish ballads presented by “Black Gold”. The ensemble includes Juno Award-winning artists Larry Martin and D’Arcy Broderick of “The Irish Descendants,” with D’Arcy Broderick also known for his contributions to “The Fables,” as well as Kevin Evans of “Evans & Doherty,” who has performed with renowned groups such as “The Irish Rovers”, “The Garrison Brothers”, “Tommy Makem & Liam Clancy”. The program also spotlights cherished Newfoundland compositions, written and performed by Bud Davidge of the renowned duo “Simani.” This thoughtfully crafted production offers a rich tapestry of musical artistry, appealing to a wide range of audiences.
