From the team that brought you Oil and Water, Between Breaths, and Tempting Providence comes a brand new fast and fun rock’n’roll musical based on the songs of Sean Panting, featuring an all-star team of Newfoundland and Canadian musical theatre artists.
Dominic is an aging rocker who never quite made it but never stopped trying. Now, on the back end of middle age, he has a new girlfriend and big plans for the band. But when his estranged daughter from his first marriage turns up, his insular carefree world starts to crumble. Dom suddenly finds himself struggling to find the precarious middle ground between what he loves and who he loves.
Man of the Year is a coming-of-age story…twenty years too late.
