Abra Whitney: Live @ Theatre Hill

Abra Whitney (She/Her) is a dynamic and joyful performer from St. John’s, NL. She holds a BMus in Vocal Performance and a MMus in Choral Conducting. She is most active as a Voice and Piano teacher at Intervals Music Studio where she also develops curriculum for the innovative Do Re Mi and You Group Vocal class, and as Artistic and General Manager for the Coastal Sounds Choir Association in Conception Bay South. Abra regularly performs in a broad range of styles, and has most recently worked with the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra (Beethoven’s 5th Symphony), Opera on the Avalon (Soloist for Fall Festival), and the Majestic Theatre (Rumour Has It: A Tribute to Adele). Abra enjoys performing in many different styles of music from jazz, pop and musical theatre, to classical, gospel and choral music. She is an alumni of ProCoro Canada, Shallaway Youth Choir, and Lady Cove Women’s Choir, and is a founding member of Projekt Chamber Voices.
